Café Des Amis
LED Specialists ACDC Lighting has just completed the lighting for Café Des Amis in Covent Garden – London. This high class Al A Carte Restaurant/Bar uses several of ACDC’s luminaires including Minicubeus, Cubeus and Vertigo.
Minicubeus and Cubeus are used in the stairwell of this development to create stunning linear arrays along the wall. Vertigo is prominent in the bar area with several other products including specialist linear lighting to create a striking wall wash effect.
Although many of these products are designed for IP65 exterior use, the primary reason for their use was their long life, low energy characteristics.
Working closely with Nicholas Harlow Design to provide various samples and mock-ups this restaurant/bar has utilised several of the new Luxeon LED range.
The project Designer Helen Harlow of Nicholas Harlow Design commented ‘Our client was very pleased with the end result. There was nothing else available on the market which is as stunning and visually striking, but provides the long life, low maintenance advantages.
Café Des Amis is one of several projects to incorporate ACDC’s new LED Lighting, with many more planned for the future.
