Lighting Completed at Harvey Nichols - Edinburgh
ACDC Lighting Systems Scottish Office has just completed the £50,000 lighting contract for Harvey Nichols in Edinburgh, manufacturing the Cold Cathode Lighting for the new retail centre.
The design incorporates ACDC’s cold cathode system in ‘New Gold’ and ‘Brilliant Red’ configured in circular arrangements, featuring in excess of 600 metres of low voltage cold cathode.
ACDC’s cold cathode was chosen for its unique 1-10 volt dimming system, along with its long life and low maintenance characteristics, as the installation was in high, difficult to reach areas. Working on the project with Lighting Designers ‘Equation Lighting Design’ a practical and stunning lighting scheme was developed, being manufactured and installed in under 5 weeks.
