Lighting Completed at the Lowry
ACDC Lighting Systems have completed the lighting contract at the Lowry Galleria in Manchester, manufacturing Cold Cathode Lighting for the new leisure complex.
The design incorporates over 700M of ACDC's Contour Exterior Cold Cathode system in Neo Blue, around the exterior building façade and various internal areas, creating a stunning visual effect that can be seen for miles around. The design was developed over a 6 month period in conjunction with the M & E Consultants, the on site installation taking approximately 2 months.
ACDC's Project Manager Paul Whittaker commented 'we worked closely with electrical contractors ABB to develop an achievable solution despite difficult on site conditions. Together we managed to bring this project to a successful conclusion.' This project along with the original installation at the ‘Lowry Centre’ makes up an impressive installation at the Salford Quay Waterfront.
