Lighting Design Awards 2007
ACDC was named as a key supplier to three winning projects at the 2007 Lighting Design Awards. The projects covered a wide spectrum of lighting projects. Speirs & Major’s Sackler Crossing at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew was named as Winner of the Special Projects category where ACDC LEDs helped to create the architect’s vision of ‘walking on water”.
ACDC LEDs and Cold Cathode systems also featured in the Residential Winner category for a scheme designed by Inverse Lighting Design for a traditional home opposite Wimbledon Park. ACDC also featured as “highly commended” in the residential category in a design by VBK Lighting Consultants for Parliament View which featured Cold Cathode lighting.
