Whilst LED’s deliver an excellent product offering for building interiors, it is in exterior spaces where they really come into their own. ACDC’s latest range of floodlights is the first that truly competes with traditional light sources, not just adding LED’s to existing luminaires, but designing the fitting around the LED source.
The brand new Matrix product not only competes with existing light sources in terms of output, but matches them in terms of flexibility of beam angles, accessories and adjustability. The product is designed in three formats to deliver equivalent to 20, 35 and 70 Watt metal halide, with mains onboard for simple through wiring connection. There is a choice of optics, along with a broad range of accessories that can be added to the luminaire, giving the designer ultimate flexibility from a well designed and long-life LED floodlight.
IP65 rated and designed with ultimate simplicity in mind, Matrix takes on the established floodlights in the market, both in terms of performance and usability, whilst offering the benefits of LED technology. The product is Part L compliant – at 60 Lumens per Watt – and boasts a lifetime of 50,000 hours to 70% Lumen maintenance; presenting the benefits of 2 year payback with 10 year lifetime. The fitting is adjustable through 180° and colour rendering is in excess of 90 CRI in warm white.
Ideal for façade, reveal illumination and general floodlighting, Matrix is available in three product options: Micro, Mini and Compact – being equivalent to 20, 35 and 70 Watt metal halide respectively. LED colour choice is either 3000K or 4200K and the luminaire is finished in Silver or Black, with other colour options available to order. Accessories include a Glare Cowl, Cross Hatch Louvre and Colour Filter Holder as well as an earth spike for mounting at ground-level.
