Taking 'Serious' Halogen Replacement by Storm
Launched to much acclaim at the recent 100% Design show in London, Storm is the latest addition to the award-winning range of architectural downlighters from ACDC.
Offering the same cost-saving benefits as the superb Evolution range of products, but available with two LED modules, Storm has been launched to satisfy the need for a compact halogen replacement LED task-light for use mainly in retail, hospitality and large-scale residential applications.
Available either with the acclaimed Devil onboard LED module from ACDC or the Xicato LED module, Storm is a fixed architectural downlighter that features a beautifully designed reflector cup, available in a number of exceptional quality finishes, such as White, Silver, Dark Chrome and Matt Black.
The ACDC Devil option offers a slim 100mm profile and choice of four beam angles, whilst the Xicato module features an IP65 rating for use in wet areas. Both LED modules offer in excess of 50,000 hours lifetime to 70% lumen maintenance and output is the same as that of a standard 35 Watt halogen fitting.
However, as with all products in the ACDC Evolution range, the energy consumption of the LED module is around one-third of that required by a traditional 35 Watt halogen lamp; performance that delivers truly exceptional cost-saving benefits for retail, commercial and high-end residential applications.
